The Meander Trail between Sylvan Lake Road and Baker Mountain Road will be closed September 24th - October 5th for construction as part of the "Great Trail/Trans Canada Trail" upgrading and connecting.

This week we have started Phase 2 of the Cranbrook Great Trail Loop Project which will connect the Cranbrook Community Forest to Idlewild Park. We will be providing a packed gravel surfaced trail along the Fortis gas pipeline ROW from 9th St. to Sylvan Road in the CCF. Trans Canada Trail, e-KNOW (East Kootenay News Online Weekly).
